Hi Huneybees,

OMG! Hollywood actor (famous for GREASE) and aviator was in Singapore! He was here to unveil BREITLING Navitimer Blue Sky yesterday afternoon at the Swissotel as BREITLING's global ambassador.

More than 60 local and regional media attended the launch event which also marks the 60th anniversary of the Navitimer, which is the world’s oldest mechanical chronograph still in production.

The BREITLING Navitimer Blue Sky is a limited edition timepiece and just 500 pieces will be manufactured worldwide. In Singapore, only 9 pieces have been allocated. *Wow! =OoO=  *

JCube IMAX Experience

Hi Huneybees,

Woohoo! Not only JCube is a shopping paradise, they are also famous for its facilities. Other than the huge Skating Ice Rink, the JCube IMAX Theatre is another experience you must go for!

The cinema's just above the Skating Ice Rink.
I watched The Amazing Spiderman that day and I'm loving it! I watched the 2 movie twice and both times are at the Shaw IMAX Theatres. What makes the IMAX theatres different from the other 3D cinemas is the concave shaped screen that they call it the IMAX Theatre geometry. It is to maximize the depth of field and make you feel like you are totally in the movie.

Review of The Amazing Spiderman can be found here.

Shaw Theatres JCube opened on 5 April 2012 with 7 screens, including an IMAX theatre, bringing Hollywood blockbusters and quality entertainment right to the doorsteps of residents in the west of Singapore.

One thing I fear when watching a 3D movie is the distance between the screen and the seats. I remember once, I watched at another theatre and the distance between the first row of seats and the screen was super tight. I vomited bad after the movie.

But, for the IMAX Theatre, there is already like a huge distance from the screen. So even when I'm sitting on the 4th row, I'm watching the movie with comfort. Their 3D glasses are also amazing. I have to wear my glasses below the 3D glasses and most of the time I have to hold and support the 3D glasses but for the IMAX ones, my hands are free to eat popcorn! Yipee!!

IMAX Theatres are my first choice for movies enjoyment, go give it a try if you havn't. :)

Eli T. performing on 4th Night of Men's Fashion Week

Hi Huneybees,

Singapore-born Eli T. discovered his passion for music from a young age. Pursuing his musical inclinations in the school's choir and symphony orchastra, Eli now counts playing the piano, flute and oboe and saxophone as just a few of his talents.

Returning home from further studies in Canada, Eli took up music producing earnestly and arranged tracks for the likes of Disney, Wong Lee Hom, Wilber Pan and Gorillaz. Many tracks went on to be chart-toppers - including the infamous smash hit 'Record Breaker' sung by Filipino pop princess, Sarah Geronimo.

Clothings by Depression.
Not stopping at that, Eli also went on to make his theatre debut in Dick Lee's production, Beauty Kings where his performance was given rave reviews. He also since released his debut album - Revolt to much acclaim and has made history by being the first Asian musician to be nominated in the 'Best Singer/Songwriter' and 'Best Solo Artist' categories in the All Indie Music Awards held in Hollywood.

Wonderful energetic performance!
Travelling around the region and performing in numerous music festivals, Eli has begun making waves in the local and international music scene; and is the face to watch out for in the underground electro-pop music circuit.

Yipee! I got a pic with Eli T. He's so friendly and humble
