Now to reveal what was the Panasonic surprise...

Hi Huneybees,

Remember the previous blog post where I attended a party held by Panasonic? At the end of it, there was a little bag of Panasonic surprise that I didn't reveal. Well, it's time! Have you made a guess? The tag line is #GoTheDistance and yes, it's a Panasonic Mobile Backup Charger for Smartphones.

The charger is very compact, only the size of my palm! I could charge 90% of my Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc and it's really handy especially when the smartphones these days drain out the battery so fast! Sometimes I have to be out of home for the whole day and by half of the day, my battery drains out. With this little charger, I can even go clubbing into the night at peace!

So compact right?

In the package is the Mobile Charger, a USB Cable and an AC Adapter. You can choose to charge it with the conventional electrical wall plug or simply plug it into your computer with the USB Cable to charge it.

Specifications

- Input: DC 5 V 500mA / 1 A
- Output: USB x 1 port DC 5 V Max. 1 A
- Size: approx. 39 x 70 x 22 mm (Main Unit)
- Weight: approx. 78 g (Main Unit)
- Battery Inside: Li-ion 3.7 V 2800 mAh

With the 3 colours LED light indicator, you will know when is it time to charge or when the charger is charging, etc. What I liked was the on/off button that you can press to control the battery charging. When you think it's enough, simply off it, save the energy and keep till a later time when you nee to charge you mobile phones again.

The charger can be found in most IT stores, but cuurrently, I do not have the pricing yet.
I will update once I get it. :)

[Giveaway] SONY USB Portable Power Supply - CP-ELSB

Hi Huneybees,

Are you always in the need for some #InstantPower? Ever experienced such situations: When you are out in town and boss calls you to check up on some email and your handphone just dies on you? At your favourite idol's concert and your handycam or camera just went low batt just when they are performing your favourite song? Or at an event and you wana Blog/Tweet/Facebook on the spot, but your handphone blacked out? (Yes, all these happened to me!)

So, I always end up bringing my chargers out with me, causing my bags to be so heavy and shoulders feeling so sore at the end of the day. What's worse is instead of enjoying my hours out, I end up searching high and low for power points to plug in my chargers! How silly right?!

Well, fret not! SONY is here to save the day with their lithium-ion USB Portable Power Supply - CP-ELS

“The latest series of on-the-go power solutions from Sony demonstrates how we constantly aim to innovate in ways that bring real value to our customers. Smartphones, mp3 players, gaming devices, cameras and camcorders are playing increasingly important roles in our lives, connecting us with each other in ways no one could have imagined. Today it can be a huge inconvenience when these devices run out of power, but with the CP-ELSB, our customers will always have a healthy supply of power for all their portable devices.” -  Mr. Takemura Takayuki, Deputy Director, Recording Media & Energy Centre, Sony Electronics Asia Pacific.

The compact CP-ELS has a battery capacity of 2,000mAh that provides enough juice to recharge any modern smartphone on-the-go, equipping users with a source of instant power in their hands for their USB chargeable portable devices. With a high USB output of maximum 5V, 1.0A, users can be assured of quick charging of their smartphones. How convenient right?! And not only that, the portable power supply is also very compact and so easy to bring around! Even when you are clubbing, you can simply have it in your pocket!

The SONY USB portable power supply battery is available in TWO colours:
SONY CP-ELS  = White
SONY CP-ELSB = Black

The black version is brand new and will launch at the IT Show on 8th March 2012.

All chargers come with additional USB cable.

How it works? Simple as A,B,C,! Basically, the portable power supply comes with both sides. One is a USB port and the other is a Micro USB port.

Plug in the Micro USB side to the portable power supply and USB side to the comp and you are ready to charge the portable power supply to bring it out later. And if you are a SONY ERICSSON phone user like me, you can simply charge it like charging your phone!

So, once you are done charging the portable power supply, you can simply swap the end. Plug in the USB side to the portable power supply and Micro USB side to your devices. Here I'm using it for my Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc. (YES! I'm a SONY babe!)

Gren light means charging device.
See! My phone's charging up! #InstantPower!

Sony Uphoria - Mike Posner

Hi Huneybees,

It was pouring on Saturday, but no one can stop Mike Posner and Train fans from turning up at the Sony Uphoria event. A huge tent at the back of *Scape was erected and sweet people of Sony had umbrellas ready for us to pick us up from Curious Teepee and the whole place inside was air-conditioned, so that we don't get too "heat up" in there....

We got to play with the Sony Tablet. Really neat gadget, love the elevated feature.
Was there with the babes, Peiyun and Michelle. Valentine got delayed by rain.

I'm a proud Sony Ericsson, Android owner, how can I miss out a pic with the Android Bot.

Spot any stars? I even got the chance to take a pic with the host, Oli Pettigrew. Cute right? Peiyun said he reminded her of Stephen Gately.

Check out the crowd! Everyone got there early to 'chope' their seats....
Just in case you are asking me who is Mike Posner? Read this: Michael Robert "Mike" Posner (born February 12, 1988) is an American singer, songwriter, and producer. Posner released his debut album, 31 Minutes to Takeoff, on August 10, 2010. The album includes the Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 single "Cooler Than Me," his second single, "Please Don't Go," as well as his third single, "Bow Chicka Wow Wow" featuring Lil Wayne.

Ok, enough blabbling, let's welcome MIKE POSNER!

The opening number was a "Baby Please Don't Go" followed by "Cheated". He's energy was amazing! The moment he stepped onto the stage, he had fans screaming at the top of their voices and it didn't stop at all! I literally went temporary deaf there. All his songs were so catchy, everyone was singing to them, bouncing and screaming, it was madness!

I love hearing Mike Posner's voice, maybe coz it reminds me alot of Justin Timberlake? Both are talented at making songs, have their very own unique voices and play musical instruments. Hmmm, upcoming big star?

And at this moment, he took off his jacket and grabbed a teddy to give to one of his fan. Wonder was she robbed later?

On the piano, he did a cover of Oasis's "Wonderwall" and he ever drummed to Adele's "Rolling in the Deep"!

Let's do the brain....

The big grand finale was Mike-y jumped onto the piano and start jumping, dancing, while performing "Cooler Than Me". It was super chaotic when he came down from stage to shake hands with the fans. I was almost 'stomped' to deaf. The video I was recording got interrupted, but well, I had fun!

P.S. Thanks to Superadrianme and Sony for the tickets!
