Our Valentines' Day

Hi Huneybees,

How was your Valentines' Day celebration? Who did you spend it with? I was of course with my significant other and we celebrated for 2 days. Tehehehe...

Yesterday, he brought me to our favourite Italian restaurant for our countdown to Valentines' Day dinner.

Sub of Bella Pizza, Bella Pasta.

 An excited customer.

 A happy customer.

 Cheers!

For starters: We had Burratina (Buffalo Cheese , Arugula and Tomatoes).

After you cut open the cheese, a mix of milk and cheese burst out.

The wine bottles made us order a glass each... :p

Then our main course: Capellini Ai Fruitti De Mare.
Capellini  = Angel's Hair Pasta with seafood in seafood-tomato sauce.

See how much ingredients there was?

Our main course: Parma Ham Pizza topped with Arugula and slices of Mozarella Cheese.

 Yummy yummy!

Then we indulged in their wonderful dessert, Pannacotta!

 Strawberries all on top!

The sweet boss, Antonio, served us each a mini glass of Limoncello to aid in digestion.

Limoncello is an Italian lemon liqueur mainly produced in Southern Italy, mainly in the region around the Gulf of Naples, the Sorrentine Peninsula and the coast of Amalfi and islands of Procida, Ischia and Capri, but also in Sicily, Sardinia, Menton in France, and the Maltese island of Gozo. Traditionally, it is made from Sorrento lemon peel, though most lemons will produce satisfactory limoncello.

Limoncello is traditionally served chilled as an after-dinner digestivo. Along the Amalfi Coast, it is usually served in small ceramic glasses themselves often chilled, the Amalfi coast being a center of both ceramic and limoncello production. This tradition has been carried into other parts of Italy.
Limoncello is common in Italy but has recently become popular in other parts of the world. Restaurants in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand are increasingly offering limoncello on their beverage and dessert menus. It is an increasingly popular ingredient in cocktails, as it imparts a strong lemon flavor without the sourness or bitterness of lemon juice.

A pic for the night before we head home all red and dizzy.

An for the actual day today, we met up for lunch @ Hong Xing restaurant for my fav Dim Sums.

I headed home and dressed up for tonight's movie screening of "I am Number Four" (Review on the next blog entry).

 Ma! There's a huge RAT!!!

We passed by Marche to find this Cupid Cow.

 And Love Cow?

Then, we headed to Central for some simple dinner.
Curry Fishballs and Cow Stomach.

 Mine was the simple "车仔面".

And his was "Wan Ton Noodle".

Do comment let me know how was your V'Day ya? Night~

Muahz,
