VIP Fashion Night - Oroton

Hi Huneybees,

The last store that we visited was Oroton. I heard of this name when I was staying in Australia many years ago. I bought a little mesh bag then and have been hoping that the brand will come into Singapore market and now, they have landed in Marina Bay Sands!

Blending contemporary elegance with understated luxury, Oroton remains one of the most talked about brands in Australian fashion today, complete with innovative collections that are rivalled only by the history of the brand itself.
Founded in 1938, pioneering businessman Boyd Lane rapidly established himself at the forefront of his field importing and wholesaling quality textiles from Europe. Gaining trust and respect from industry peers around the world, manufacturersdelivered a wide variety of products, among them ladies handbag frames from a supplier in Belgium, one of which arrived with a sample material that would eventually play a pivotal part in the future rise of Boyd's company: mesh.
From its best-selling French purse model to the ever-popular brush, comb and mirror sets, whatever the season Oroton consistently remained a retail phenomenon across Australia and became known as the brand with a cult-following. The mesh evening bags were so in-demand the brand was even asked to produce a limited-edition purse especially for the opening of the Sydney Opera House.

Introducing the popular mesh bags. These are upgraded version, where they won't hook onto your dresses.

Oroton is not just only about bags. They have accessories too! The scarf on the left is made of rabbit fur. Totally love the feeling of it ~

We got introduced to the special anniversary clutch where the bag is made of different materials...

Ok, let's show ya the other non-mesh bags. There are many different shapes and sizes, catering to every ladies needs. Some are more corporate, suitable for work and some are colourful with prints for that party you...

And as mentioned, Oroton sells accessories as well. Jewelry, shoes, sunglasses and even nail polishes!

First time Oroton has heels! They have always been producing ballet pumps like the ones below...

Guys, Oroton is also for you! They have wonderful bags for you to put in your documents and laptop.
And not forgetting ties as well! Definitely look stunning and smart with Oroton!

You can check out more about Oroton on their webpage, http://www.oroton.com/ or their Facebook page ,https://www.facebook.com/orotonstudio to learn more about the range of products that they carry.

Big thank you to Oroton for the lovely gift...

Adidas All 24 Event (Day 1)

*Warning: heavy image blog entry below*

Hi Huneybees,

Last weekend I attended the Adidas All 24 Event @ *Scape. For details, you can see the previous blog entry. The watch design I submitted to Adidas got shortlisted and I was required to be there on Saturday to do up a prototype to enter for the finals.

I had a friend, Valentine (who's also a blogger)to accompany me through the night and she was sweet to help me take photos, while I completed the prototype.

Arriving at the event, choose your path.

The stage is ready.

We waited for 9pm and the event was officially launched. Guess who Adidas invited to be the hosts?

YES! The Muttons from 987FM.
Shan Wee was the first to arrive.
Celebrities from the basketball team. Shan Wee and Paul Foster.
