DKNY Jeans Fall/Winter 2011 Collection

Hi Huneybees,

Jessie recently got us invitation to the DKNY Jeans Fall/Winter 2011 fashion show at Paragon. What a way to start my October!

I've always been a fan of DKNY, their style can be so versatile. Either pair them with jeans for a casual day out or skirt, for a flirtatious look, jacket for biker chic, etc....

For this collection, even though the clothings may be thick, but since these days, it's been rainy season, it will be good to keep us warm and if you feel that you might be dressed too thick, you can always pair it with skirts or bermudas to suit the "on and off" weather in Singapore.

I shan't say more, enjoy the fashion show...

How do you find the clothings? Very playful right? Patterns, fringe, feathers are some of the details you can look for when pairing with something solid colour, giving your whole outfit an extra "Wow" factor...

Robinsons and mio TV presents PRIMETIME FALL FASHION

Next Thursday 29th September, Robinsons will be premiering their latest Fall/Winter 2011 Collection at the latest and hottest club, AVALON, Marina Bay Sands! I am super excited just by hearing it.


Don't start thinking that Robinsons is a little too 'auntie', clothes too corporate etc! They are revamped and will be bringing in clothes from Lipsy London, Zara Paris, Oasis London, Motivi, Aryn K Los LA etc. Cool right?! Wait till you see the line of clothings from the respective brands mentioned....

It will be a night of non-stop music and party with mio TV. What's more is you get to mingle with Kiehl's and 2(X)ist Boys and star bloggers QiuTing, Beatrice Tan, Velda, Zoe Raymond and mycherrymagazine who will be grazing the event.

So, what do you think will be in this season? For me, leather, fur and bold prints are always a fashion statement to me. And this Fall/Winter, polka dots are such an IN!

Also, since Fall/Winter is such a gloomy time, why not add a little colour into your life right? To me, fashion is something you follow and turn it to your style. Like Singapore doesn't snow, do you really need a fur coat?! But maybe you can have a fur collar, fur sleeve here and there right? Don't blindly follw fashion, wear the clothes and not let the clothes wear you. 

BTW, I've found some pieces online (all photos were taken from search on Google) that I love and I think will be a statement this Fall/Winter. What do you guys think?

See how playful polka dots and prints can be? Be it tight skirt or flowing dress, it's just as  fashionable.

And I think smouldery eyes, bronze, gold, brown and grey are the IN colours for makeup and nails.

Are these shoes just shouting fashion?! High cut to keep you warm. Platform to make your legs look long. Frills, pattern and snake skin to gives the whole look a little twist.

Lastly, don't these Versace bags just scream Lady Gaga?! And what Lady Gaga is all about? Fashion right?!
