Tonight is Namie Amuro Night!

Hi Huneybees,

Another celebrity in Singapore this weekend would be the gorgeous Namie Amuro! She's my one of my Favourite Japanese Female singers and now she's finally on our shores!

She's celebrating her 20th Anniversary, (still so pretty, like time doesn't affect her..). Below is her press conference held yesterday.

September Babies (2) - Terence

Hi Huneybees,

September had seen lots of birthdays and there's another blogger friend, Terence who celebrated his, the big boy style. William treated him to dinner at Eastern Restaurant and all of us was invited. Thanks William and Terence!

And if you read my previous blog post on food tasting at Eastern Restaurant, you will know how much I love their food! This time round, we got to try some other food that I did not get to eat the other time. Let me introduce the dishes one by one....

Cold tofu with century egg.
Cashew Chicken.
Wanton in Chilli Sauce, 红油抄手
Wanton Soup
Ma Po Tofu
Vegetables in Oyster Sauce.
And the infamous Soup Dumplings.
Birthday boy, Terence showed us the right way to pick up a soup dumpling.
Spring Onion Pancake.
Spicy Kang Kong
Fried Gyozas
Mantou Bun
Fried rice
Sweet and Sour Pork.
Dong Po Pork
And we ended off with dessert, Liu Sha Bao.
Juicy filling of custard and salted egg bursting out of the bun.
Then, we surprised Terence with a B'dae cake.
Love the cake to lots. Super chocolatey!
B'dae boy and his B'dae cake.

Make a wish, blow out the candles and it was time for us to play a little prank.

Lick it, bite it, Terence had to remover the candle holder that we plucked so deep into the cake.

Cut the cake, take some photos and we are off to the next party!

The next party was at St. James Powerhouse, it was Ladies' Night, Terence got some table and drinks, but it was a pity we all had to leave early for work the next day....

William shared with us this super yummy chewing gum from his Japan trip.
Considerate Japanese even had this notepad thingy inside the bottle, so that we can spit the chewing gum in it and throw away, fuss free.

Great company, great fun. I wana do this again!

I'm gona end this blog post with pictures of my look that night. I love how the colours turned out even though the look was all last minute, done in the car ride to Eastern Restaurant. Amazing right?

Lucify Reunion Showcase

Hi Huneybees,

Last couple of weeks was non stop action for me, all party party party. I had events after events and had no time to blog. So sorry....
>.<|||

Anyway, I won myself tickets to the Lucify showcase at St James Dragonfly (Yeah!) and I met up with several blogger friends there. It was a night of great music, great drinks and wonderful company!!!

Just a little intro on Lucify. The members are Shinya (Vocal), Misaki (Guitarist), Kelvin (Guitarist), Kuek (Bassist) and Vics (Drummer). They were formed in the early Japanese Summer Festival 2005 and became popular when they joined a band competiton that was telecast on local TV called "Channel U Superband". They emerged as the 2nd Runner Up.

Apart from releasing recording albums with Warner Music, the band performed in major events and venues like the Singapore Indoor Stadium and staged along with popular overseas artistes such as Energy, Mayday, Beyond, Jolin Tsai, Zhang Zhen Yue, Tank, Milk and Lee Sheng Jie etc.
Now for photo time!

Got the tickets, let's get ready to rumble!
Whistles and glowing stick were given to us fans to cheer on!

Lucify performed several well known songs, but they stuck pretty much to their rocker style, making the crowd screaming and cheering on for them.

We were privileged to get a table on level 2 to enjoy the show too....

How can you call it a party with no booze right?!
Cheers~ Hubby made me this halo from glowing sticks...
A pic with Joey.

With Hong Peng and Shu Qing.

Then, Hong Peng, Terence, Jessie and Shu Qing went down for one to one session with the group themselves. I enjoyed my booze, while I lent Hong Peng my camera for shots. The following photos without my watermark is taken by him.

Check out the fans! They even made their own banner for their favourite member of the band. Hardcore right?

At the end of the concert, Lucify each fired a confetti gun into the crowd. It was climax to the max and got the crowd cheering for them...

They had their grand final pic, we bloggers also take a group photo before calling it a day....

Muahz,
Christina aka Huney
