Hi Huneybees,

This is so embarrassing. I've been having these photos in my handphone and I totally forgot to pull it out. I think by now, alot of you would have gone to watch Real Steel already right? So just let me share the photos taken that day....

Greeted by Atom upon reaching the cinema. This is the real thing and it will be on tour...
Posing with Atom.
But I like Noisy Boy more. Maybe coz it's Jap and it's colourful and loud!
Time to go in for the movie!
Having a group shot taken after the movie....

There's also a mission game on the Real Steel Singapore Facebook page and you can read all about it on fellow blogger, William's post here.

Real Steel - Robots

Hi Huneybees,

Have you seen the upcoming movies list? One that I've been waiting for is Real Steel. Male lead is Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) and he starred across ROBOTS!

All I see is muscles, muscles, muscles.

Synopsis of movie:
A gritty, white-knuckle, action ride set in the near-future, where the sport of boxing has gone hi-tech, “Real Steel” stars Hugh Jackman as Charlie Kenton, a washed-up fighter who lost his chance at a title when 2000-pound, 8-foot-tall steel robots took over the ring. Now, nothing but a small-time promoter, Charlie earns just enough money piecing together low-end bots from scrap metal to get from one underground boxing venue to the next. When Charlie hits rock bottom, he reluctantly teams up with his estranged son Max (Dakota Goyo) to build and train a championship contender. As the stakes in the brutal, no-holds-barred arena are raised, Charlie and Max, against all odds, get one last shot at a comeback.

So, what do you think about the movie? Cool right? Robots fighting on behalf of human, bearing the pain and all...

Actually, movies about robots are abundant. Robots were first built with the idea of helping and ease the load of human. There's limit to how much work a human can do a day, how much load a human can carry, so that's where robots come in, so that humans can have more time for their families and friends as well.

These days, robots are more and more lifelike, helping humans with work, substituting us in times of danger, like bomb diffusion.

Sounds like a good deal right? In fact, I would want to get myself a robot which is built from the toughest material in the galaxy so that it could act as my bodyguard, to protect me in times of danger, like my very own Superman!!!

What about you? What robot would you want?
